THE HISTORY OF PROPERTY 71

Property 71 launched in November 2003, when Eshara Lorick, the Founder of the company left the employ of Standard Bank.  Eshara had acquired her, Certificate in Estate Agency whilst still in the employ of Standard Bank.  Having been exposed to the Financial Sector in many avenues within the Bank, Eshara sought to extend and expand her knowledge of the Property Sector,ie, Real Estate Marketing.  This decision followed, due to her being the Number One, Mobile Home Loans Consultant KZN, for Standard Bank and after receiving numerous National accolades, that is, over a period of four years(specific to the property sector), from the said Bank.  Eshara continued researching the Property Market and followed through by acquiring her CRS (Council of Residential Specialist) Accreditation in 2004.

Property 71 also has a Development arm, which is registered with the NHBRC, which company is solely owned by the founder of Property 71.  We have hands on experience in regards to the on-site processes, as well as,  know the importance of the Follow Through process of – FROM START OF MARKETING, TO THE  POINT OF SALE AND FINAL REGISTRATION AND TRANSFER.

The relationship built between the Founder of Property 71 and external agents in the industry led to many positive inter-actions since the launch of Property 71, as agents were already aware of the level of integrity and ethical behaviour, which would be the cornerstone of Property 71 and all its employees. Although the roles of the Founder and Agents were now that of Agent and Agents, the respect that was and is in-place, continues unabated, that is, not to say that no competition was and is encountered.
Property 71 was launched with the intent of working with people who trust the employees of The Brand and who would continue to refer people and in-turn, their business to us. This Working Strategy has paid its dividends, as our clients are primarily referral based with the balance being acquired onto our database through the print media, electronic media, flyers, pavement advertising and sponsorships.

Property 71 further, believes in the upliftment of Communities and Youth and therefore sponsor KZN League Teams in the fields of Squash and Soccer,(both teams have proven their versatility and tenancity with continued wins over the years). The sponsorships are of an on-going nature and we are active in the organization, of the Awards Evenings and have Tournament representation.
